Project manager for a multiple boat project including a new build in the design process, plus the charter of a maxi-trimaran 105ft for a seven-month period of speed sailing record attempts in Europe and the USA. 1500 guests sailed on yacht in 6 weeks, in between collecting 3 World Speed Sailing Records; Cowes-Dinard, Newport Bermuda and Transpac.

Skipper and responsible for four-month refit of highly modified Orma60 extended to 73ft LOA. Optimisation for ocean racing and preparation for transpacific record. Class win in the race and world record missed by just two hours due to extensive damage from hitting debris.

Selected to join Giovanni Soldini and his Maserati racing team (8) onboard exVOR70 E3. Delivery to the US and Preparation for the Golden Route Clipper record from New York to San Francisco, passing around Cape Horn, 13225 nautical miles. Golden Route record broken by 10 days

1st place with co-skipper with Jorg Riechers for the double-handed Atlantic Cup in the USA.
2nd place for the crewed transatlantic race; Québec – St Malo.
MUSANDAM OMAN SAIL / MOD70 / March – July 2012
With my technical knowledge gained from working on Veolia Environnement I joined this new MOD70 team and assisted in training and preparation of the boat and the team for the upcoming Krys Ocean Race, the first transatlantic race on the MOD70 circuit. I joined the team as racing crew when one member was injured 6 weeks before the start of the race. In charge of all technical aspects of the boat during the delivery to Newport and the race back to France. We completed the race in 5 days and 20 hours. The 7th fastest transatlantic crossing of all time.

Bowman/ Boat Captain: Boat number 2 in the new MOD70 series. We received the boat from MOD in June 2011 and after a 1-week handover we went immediately into non-stop training and a season of racing;
1st place on handicap and 1st MOD in the Fastnet.
2nd in the Krys Match Prologue in October at La Trinité Sur Mer.
As well as racing crew, I was responsible for all technical aspects, including rigging, boatbuilding, and systems. I ran the shore team and I oversaw a two-month winter yard period coordinating with MOD and suppliers on warranty work. Sailing started again in January including a successful 3-week training trip to Agadir, Morocco.

Skipper: Campaign for Barcelona World Race 2010. Responsibilities included all decision making regarding development and maintenance of the boat, organization of races and training through the year before the race, and coordination of a shore team of 5. Major incidents during the racing included ballast tubing ruptures, broken stay attachments, with subsequent modification of sails, two rebuilds of the hydrogenerator systems, and finally a damaged keel ram.
5th place out of 15 starters.
2nd boat with no stops.
1st prize trophies for all our video and communication throughout the race.

Rigger/Race Crew: Following the BWR preparation experience with the Kairos team I returned to France and was tasked with continuing to refine running and standing rigging, sail handling systems, and deck gear as necessary following experience gained in the 2007 Barcelona World Race. At the end of the 2008 Vendee Globe, I joined the team full time and was subsequently on the boat for all sailing including the Istanbul Europa Race 2009.

Rigger: Employed by a team of two Barcelona world race competitors. Responsibilities include running rigging, standing rigging and rig tuning for both boats. For Veolia emphasis was on new systems including halyard locks, and lifting rudders, as well as optimization of sail handling systems and deck gear. For ESF (ex Kingfisher) concentration was on refitting the yacht in order to renew a proven design for another lap of the planet.

Rigger: Rebuilt, re-stepped and sail tuned rig as part of 3 month refit in preparation for 24 hour record attempts and a Jules Verne attempt winter 2004. Concentration during refit and follow-up sailing was on improving reliability and ease of operation/handling for transoceanic record attempts.

Rigger: Replaced all running rigging and performed general rigging maintenance on Amer Sports One and Two during Baltimore stopover of Volvo Ocean Race 2001-2002.
